On Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, 2024, in the prairie outside Lawrence, Kansas, Inside the Castle will be celebrating its 10th anniversary of publishing literature in the expanded field. The event will be as unrecognizably literary as our books.

The schedule is tentatively as follows:

Saturday, May 25, 5-9 PM

Sunday, May 26, 3-7 PM

Readings by Douglas Luman, Kyle Booten, Karolina Zapal, Mike Kleine

Music by Topeka Flesh, Lowrentz Whelk

In addition to music and readings there will be pop-up book sales by New Material KC, raffles (including 2 copies of B.R. Yeager’s legendary deck of cards PEARL DEATH), and participation in a digitally collaborative book called INSIDE THE CASTLE 2: REVENGE OF THE CASTLE FREAK, edited by Kyle Booten and John Trefry.
